John Waite

EMUSIC-1967

I like everything John Waite does, so downloaded number 4. Also, number 5 because I like Mickey Thomas' voice and I am a big fan of YES.

Be Careful

I reallly enjoy covers, and picked out Space Oddity, Gypsy, Across the Universe, and More than a Feeling. All are very well done. BUT the rating only applies to those songs. It appears that 'somebody' decided to create a vague storyline about space with a few covers, and a few interconnecting sound bites. I only listed to the snippets, but it appears to be dreck. So be careful out there...

Please note: On track 5 "Starship Trooper" Tony Kaye played on the original version of this as a member of Yes. He was never (as noted) a member of King Crimson.

What makes eMusic great - take the one and run!

SpagettiLeg

The Jackson Browne cover of "Across the Universe" is cool, and absolutely worth a pick. Since eMusic provides me the opportunity to take one song and go, that's what I'll do. My 5-star rating is for the JB cover alone. You're on your own if you venture to listen to any of the rest ... and may the heavens help you.
