Although this is an bit of an oldie, it's still a goodie. In fact, when launched it was ahead of it's time back in 2006,when electronica was starting to make a name for itself. Great album, and worth every penny. ;)

I already many of these tracks from tens of hours digging around in the playlists on this site...if only I had started here! Doozy of a compilation.

Average

A couple of stand-out tracks, notably those by Jon Hopkins, Ulrich Schnauss plus Justin Robertson pres. Revtone, but as a whole, rather too homogenous to stand repeated listenings.

Average chillout album

DJYAYA

I would say this about "avereage" for a chillout album. I didn't hear anything that really stuck out, nor was there anything that made me want to turn it off.

Silentist

I still listen to this from back when I downloaded it a few years ago. Good selections. True they may be blended, but only a few seconds. You can still work with them. Why isn't Art of Chill 1, 3, or 4 on here?

End justifies the means.

Luminal

Regardless of the software used or if actual keys were played or horns tooted or skins banged- beautiful music is the end result. I find it hard to believe that questioning the method of creation even arises in this day and age.Chill..

continuous mix...

nicmac303

...so the ends of each track are blended with the next. Nevermind.
