A spike of goodness
The early songs, including the G-500 and Parton covers, did nothing for me. But VIS suddenly hits its stride on tracks 6 to 8 -- the best on the album -- before fading again on the final two.

Amazing sound
In my opinion (and I'm a Canadian!) better than the Cowboy Junkies' "The Trinity Sessions", to which it might rightly be compared. If the music even half appeals to you, the sound quality alone might make this a favourite listen.
