Piano Concerto No.20, together with concertos No.22 and 24, symphonies No.39-41 and Requiem, forms the peak of Mozart's music and one of the peaks of the whole classical music. Here you will find very good performances of this masterpiece. Using the playlist programming, you may get five versions of Concerto No.20, differing by solo cadenzas. One version is the widespread version with cadenzas by Beethoven. Cadenzas, which are proposed by pianist Michael Rische himself, are interesting modern music, but it is not in harmony with Mozart music. But you will obtain three little-known, but very good versions: 1) with cadenzas by Hummel and Franz Mozart, belonging to era of classicism; 2) with cadenzas by great composer and pianist J.Brahms and by Clara Schumann, friend of Brahms, wife of R.Schumann and great pianist; 3) with cadenzas by Feruccio Busoni, who was a specialist in romantic interpretations of classical masterpieces. All these cadenzas are very interesting.
