In The Pit Of The Stomach may not be nearly as good as WWPJP's debut (These Four Walls) but, this is sitll fun, machismo guy music for a full review, visit www.yarnly.com
We all watch for it -- bright young talent puts out a fresh promising record with a few standout tracks, then we all hold our breath and tenuously wait to see if they can recapture the magic without overthinking what got them there in the first place. WWPJ return tighter and more confident than their (originally meant to only be a demo) debut album. Touring with fellow countrymen the Twilight Sad has rubbed off well on the impressionable youths, who manage to keep their boyish charm without delving too far into the beloved yet macabre world of Scottish-drone. Solid follow up release with a strong delivery. Well done, lads.
I'm not really into Alternative, but this is very good music. They have a very good blend of mellow and upbeat throughout the album. I very highly recommend downloading this album.
