Bring on the third album.
The second CD might be more polished than this one, but the WCO boys get a little more funky here. How can you go wrong with "Put the South in Your Mouth"? Answer? You can't pretty momma.

I stumbled across White Cowbell Oklahoma playing a free open-air concert in The Hague a few years ago. With four lead guitars and a fantastic stage show, these guys tore the house down. If you like Alabama, ZZ Top, CCR, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Allman Brothers and all the rest of the great southern rockers, you'll love White Cowbell. The whole Cencerro Blanco album is a rocking re-expression of the sound we all know and love, with some catchy and often humourous lyrics dropped on top. Original ... ? Well, that depends. The riffs are derivative (or "homage", to be kinder), but they're combined in a refreshed way to give them a whole new context. Definitely one of my favourite CDs! Who would have thought this kind of stuff could come out of Toronto?
