Another Orbit Mood

DJuvenal

As usual, he takes us down an alley late at night and you hope for a light rain and some trippy but unexpected lights to complete the mood.

He is finding his center

aPhilologist

Not as dark as 'Strange Cargo Hinterland' (which is a masterpiece). Not as slow as 'Hello, Waveforms' (which drags a bit). This album is a light, fun recap of his standard themes with a couple new technical tricks. A welcome addition to the canon.

Pleasurable music.

TheNotQuiteFool

It's not innovative or cutting edge, it's just really good electronic music.

GREAT album

siddithers

I was busy doing work at home and listened to this album 3 consecutive times without getting bored of it. Great in the background or foreground. Highly recommended. Try the title track for starters if you're not familiar with him.

More good, strange, cargo

Dylan

Strange Cargo was a great series of albums...fascinating music, interesting progression of ideas. This feels like a return to that kind vein of his. Some retro-electronica, some world music, some newage. A nice melange of textures.
