Austrian Pagan Metal
It isn't very well known that German language metal has a style all of its own - coming in somewhere between the blinding speed associated with Norway and Sweden and the Maiden and Priestisms of traditional power metal (which is huge in Germany). This album is exemplary in that it wallows in the cliches of its mixture of black metal, folk, and anthemic Maiden style melodies and somehow gets away with it. If you like European heathen ideas, this is a buried classic (as is anything else on CCP records).
