You'll be the coolest among your friends

Throw "All I Want" or "Ribbon on a Branch" on at the end of a party. The layered, melodic, chill-out sound will make everyone will ask "who's this?" No one will have heard of them so you can confidently say, casually, "Oh, it's Younger Brother. What, you've never heard of them?" Indeed, they are fantastically underrated and you'll be spreading the word on them. Maybe we can even get another album, since it has been several years since their last.

Sit back, grab a drink, and turn on this album and tune out everything else. This album will take you on an electronic trip with no bad side effects. My only complaint is, at around 165 kbps, the average bitrate for these tracks is somewhat low by today's standards. Its a 5 star album, but because of the low bitrate I'm giving it 4 stars. ** eMusic: you really need to improve your music quality, especially since cutting our downloads. This album is deserving of at least a 256 kbps bit rate.

Everything is NOT Lost

I feel like I've found the missing 2 Shpongle albums that I've been waiting for in vain. Get both, they're great. I prefer this one to "Flock of Bleeps" by a small margin.

Spectacular

Just lovely - I downloaded it because I was a fan of the first album and I am happy to report the new one just blows the old away. Sleepwalker 1 & 2 kill me.

better than b4

'flock of beeps' is good, 'last days' is even better. it's almost as if younger brother had sex with the saafi brothers and this disc came out.

is it possible to divorce your wife on the grounds of falling in love with blips, loops, and samples???

Pure Craftsmanship

DrewMusic

This is a must for any discerning collector of electronica and/or Simon Potsford fan. The trend is away from trance although there are touches of Flock of Bleeps - but overlaid and coupled with well thought out, cleverly composed downtempo/ambient, compelling pieces. This, like all Simon Potsford collaberations, is a future classic.

one of the best albums ive heard in a long time, ive listened to this now at least 20 times and ive only just got it. its a beautiful dark psychedelic mid/downtempo (with the exception of the amazing song "i am a freak" which is more trancy a la a flock of bleeps) masterwork. i only wish simon posford could make albums faster, because each is so good.
