Much of this has the feel of Turkish folk music but I wouldn't go too far in the idea of Saygun as simply a "Turkish Bartok". From Anatolia is the most "ethnic" and the most fun; Inci's Book is a charming though slightly melancholy children's album; and the Sonatina is good and quite impressionistic in places. The Preludes I didn't entirely like - they sounded like they might be better to play than just to listen to, whereas the Sketches were more interesting. But all the music is worth listening to. At 35 downloads you might be better off getting the physical disc.
