The Cage Was Unlocked All Along

Glasgow, Scotland group Zoey Van Goey's debut single may have been produced by Belle and Sebastian frontman Stuart Murdoch, but their brand of indie-pop showcased on their debut, The Cage Was Unlocked All Along, is a tad more cheery than B&S' downer-pop. And while a sense of melancholy is very much present, it's the band's sense of humor and charm that makes them endearing. Fans of boy/girl harmonies and folky twee pop should certainly take note of Zoey Van Goey's debut.
