From the "Mu5h/Spliff Dub (Rustie Remix)" single to the Where Were U in '92? album to this seven-song EP, Zomby had a career year in 2008 — and chances are he's only just getting started. Zomby EP is heavy on plinking keyboards, — it's like being pelted with Superballs, especially on "Spaceman" and "Kaliko," the two leadoff cuts. But "Test Me for a Reason" offers aromatic succor (for only two minutes, a nice move), the aptly titled "Aquafresh" delivers some clanking underwater funk-not-funk, "Gloop" and "1 Up" are like a spliffed-out Atari soundtrack and "Diamonds & Pearls" send shards of the Prince tune of the same name into a malfunctioning fun-fair to eat too much caramel corn and get woozy on the Tilt-a-Whirl.
