Things are BETTER than they used to be
Zoot Woman has clearly matured with their third album. While the excellent pop songwriting abilities were always there, Zoot Woman's (or Stuart Price's) production abilities have finally caught up with them. This album is a very solid track-for-track effort, and retains the danceable aspects of electropop without ever getting boring or tacky, which the two genres tend to do on their own. Besides the stellar production, the album also contains some excellent lyrical work. Absolutely worth a listen for fans of pop and electronic crossover music. Zoot Woman faithfuls will not be disappointed.
