Biography All Media Guide

Combining digital and analog modeling synthesizers, samples, natural field recordings, and computer sound processing, Spanish composer and keyboardist Max Corbacho has used music to express his vision of outer space. His debut album, Vestiges, released in 1999, interpreted the sounds of the universe, while his second outing, Far Beyond the Immobile Point, reflected on the darkness of deep space. Corbacho continued the theme with his 2002 album, The Resonant Memory of Earth.

Corbacho has collaborated with Argentina-born and Barcelona-based instrumentalist Bruno Sanfilippo.
