Biography All Media Guide
Londoner Rob Kemp began DJing at the age of 15. Within a few years, he took to music-making skillfully enough to rank as one of the more creative and individual post-dubstep producers. He debuted as Brackles on the Berkane Sol label in 2008 with Glazed, a swarming dubstep track with deep-probing bass frequencies; it was granted the A-side to a split 12 shared with Shortstuff. A handful of releases for Bristols Pollen and Apple Pips labels, as well as Planet Mu, Brainmath, and his and Shortstuffs Blunted Robots imprint, led to the mix album Songs for Endless Cities, Vol. 1, the inaugural release for Cool in the Pool.
