Biography

In July 2000, shortly after Slum Village released its long-awaited Fantastic, Vol. 2 album, the Detroit-based hip-hop trio released some of their older material on the brief album Best Kept Secret. Clocking at less than 30 minutes, filled out with some remixes, and attributed to the one-off moniker J-88, Best Kept Secret features leftover material from Slum Village's storied and heavily bootlegged Fantastic, Vol. 1 album.
