Biography

Singer/songwriter Everett Young has been experimenting with his jazz-influenced pop sound since the early 1990s. This southern peach first made a name for himself overseas under the moniker Hudson Young. His debut album, What If, sold several thousands copies, giving Young a chance to hone his playing style in a live setting. Upon returning to his home state of Georgia in 1997, Young involved himself with production work; he produced and engineered material for fellow southern musicians such as the Sightseers, Satori Bomb and the late Laura Pooley. In 2003, Young went back to his solo work and issued the lush, new wave/pop effort The Ground.
