Biography

In 1946 the West African Rhythm Brothers band was founded and vocalist Al Campbell was the leader. The band recorded over 50 albums and is known as one of the best highlife bands in Nigeria. Campbell released his first album in 1968 titled Highlife Today. As a solo artist, Campbell is best known for his classic single "No More Running." He has sung with, written for, or produced Barrington Levy, Freddie McGregor, Dennis Brown, the Mighty Diamonds and Sly & Robbie. Ras Records' Live and Learn label released Natty Too Tall, which includes Forward Natty and Fence Too Tall.
