Biography

The hip-hop/electronica duo Ammoncontact -- comprised of two high-school friends, former Los Angeles radio DJ Carlos Niño and Rhode Island native Fabian Ammon Alston -- made their debut on the 2001 compilation Dublab Presents: Freeways with their song "Chord, Pts. 1-2." Two years later they released their first full-length, Sounds Like Everything, on Plug Research. The next year One in an Infinity of Ways came out, followed in 2005 by New Birth on Ninja Tune, the label Ammoncontact stuck with for their fourth record, 2006's With Voices, their first album to feature a guest artist on every track.
