Biography

Forming in their late teens, this group from Orange County, California began rehearsing and performing at various venues. With all of its members having played for five to ten years, As Hope Dies was quick to receive the attention of music critics and labels. Similar in style to Swedish death metal acts such as At The Gates and In Flames, As Hope Dies released its debut offering in May 2002. Birthplace And Burial Site was released on Revelation Records. As Hope Dies has toured throughout the West Coast and has shared the stage with Radiation 4, Further Seems Forever and Curl Up And Die among others. The band has also performed at various music festivals, including Hellfest.
