Biography

The haunting and cinematic Bee and Flower feature singer/songwriter Dana Schechter and keyboardist Roderick Miller, who founded the band in New York City in 2000. Three years later, the duo issued its debut album, What's Mine Is Yours, wowing the likes of The New Yorker, The Village Voice, and Time Out New York. A move to Berlin followed in 2004, and Bee and Flower joined producer Toby Dammit for the recording of their second offering. Slated for release in 2007, the new collection of tracks features appearances from Thomas Wydler (Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds), Kristof Hahn (Angels of Light), and Peter Von Poehl (A.S. Dragon).
