Biography

Tim Hanford went under the moniker Blazing Rain for his one man project that consisted of just him, a notebook full of lyrics that delt with the honest, working class stories of his surrounding upstate New York environment and an accoustical guitar. With additional usage of the banjo and his grandma's piano, Hanford's calm, yet hyponotic sound was eventaully capture in the studio between November 1995 through February 1996. Resulting in sixteen self-produced songs, Sugar Free Records came about and Blazing Rains self-titled debut in 1998.
