Biography

Blip Blip Bleep began as the solo project of New York-based songwriter Sean Han, who started recording under the name in 2006. Blip Blip Bleep's debut EP, Wireless, was released before the year was out, and Han, having recruited the help of drummer Brett Thompson, started performing live at various venues in and around New York City by the time 2007 rolled around. Vocalist/keyboardist Sarah Lee was welcomed into the fold soon after, and the trio went on to record its second EP, Alarm Clock. The disc, a dancy, electronic affair punctuated by earnest vocals (characteristics that put Blip Blip Bleep in league with acts like I Am Robot and Proud and Frankmusik), was released in the spring of 2008.
