Biography

Blood Red Throne started in 2000, when bassist Tchort decided to start a project on his own after playing in some of the most popular Norwegian death metal bands of the '90s (including Emperor and In the Woods...). The project was more thrash-oriented, and the band released its first album in 2001, Monument of Death. A Taste for Blood arrived in 2002, followed by Affiliated with the Suffering (2003), Altered Genesis (2004), Come Death (2007), and Souls of Damnation (2009).
