Biography

Singer/songwriter Andrew Heilprin composes a tangible and more subdued sound compared to his days fronting the SoCal punk band 40 Watt Domain. He honors Bob Dylan by giving himself the moniker of Blue-Eyed Son. His collection of 50-some songs followed him on a trip to Hawaii in 2002 to meet with the folks at Volcano Records, however, the bulk of those songs were lost after Heilprin's laptop burned out. Not all was lost and luckily for Heilprin, four songs were salvaged. He recorded those four songs as a demo to send to labels. The indie imprint Eeenie Meenie received a copy and was impressed with Heilprin's heartfelt presentation. Blue-Eyed Son made his proper debut in spring 2004 with West of Lincoln.
