Feedback-sculpting noise terrorists Burmese hail from San Francisco and comprise four guys sharing two names: Mike G, Mark S, Mike G, and Mark S -- damn glad to meet ya! Starting with their 1998 debut, Burmese Is Dead, the mysterious noise collective have rotated drummers and tortured eardrums with sporadic releases on various indie record labels, including 2000's Burmese and 2004's Split, also featuring Ohio sludge mongers Fistula.
