Biography

Singer/songwriter Cormac McCarthy grew up in the small milling town of Lempster in New Hampshire, a depressed and depressing environment that has evidently fuelled his somber lyrics and blue-collar sense of dignity. After studying English in college and living in California, McCarthy returned to New England and started to establish himself as a performer along the Massachusetts/New Hampshire coast. His first CD, Troubled Sleep, represents almost 14 years of cumulative singing and musical development.
