Biography

The Colorado-based guitarist seems inspired by equal parts jazz, rock, and contemporary acoustic guitar styles exemplified by Windham Hill artists like Alex de Grassi and Michael Hedges. Heines, however, has transcended his influences to create a spirited style of his own. He also works with many like-minded contemporary musicians, most notably with several guest singers and acclaimed bassist Michael Manring on his 2002 release What Worlds They Bring.
