Biography

After putting in about ten years as a drummer for various bands, Omaha, NE, native David Condos picked up a guitar and went solo in the early 2000s. He'd always had an interest in writing his own material, having started writing songs when he was ten. He gigged for about a year before producer Tom Laune, who'd heard of Condos through the musician's parents (they attended the same church), got in contact with him. Condos handed Laune a homemade demo of "I Should Be Lost Without You," the producer liked what he heard, and soon enough Condos found himself in the studio recording the tracks that would eventually become Smoking City. The album was independently released in 2006.
