Biography

Self-describing their sound as "truly bastardized ska," Diablotones got together in 1997 in order to prove that their native of Seattle wasn't all about angst filled grunge music. Consisting of Timmy Profit (bass/vocals), Stevo (drums), Topher Mesloh (trombone), Ric Penttila (trumpet), Frank Holman (Hammond), Pat Preston (guitar/vocals), and Nick Shelestak (saxophone), the bands sound would be critically compared to the likes of the Independents and Mephiskaphales, as they self-parodied themselves as a satanic ska band. The following year, Diablotones released their self-titled debut full-length through their own funding.
