Biography

El Stew is what happens when a group of well known musicians from the San Francisco area gather together and improvise wacked-out electronic beats, mesmerizing guitars sounds and turntable samplings. Treated as side project for DJ Disk (from Invisible Skratch Piklz), Brian (Primus), Eddie Def (from Space Travelers), guitarist Buckethead and DJ Extrakd, El Stew can't help but fall under the classification of supergroup for the Millennium. In early 1999, they released a full length on Om Records in early 1999 entitled "No Hesitation" that are not only the results of countless improve jam sessions, but as well as a documentation of different genres of modern rock combined with elements of dance and electronica.
