Biography

Alternative CCM vocal group FFH (Far from Home) comprised husband and wife Jeromy and Jennifer Deibler, Michael Boggs, and Brian Smith. Signing to Nashville's Essential Records, the group debuted in 1998 with Take Me As I Am. This album quickly pushed FFH into the limelight, earning the band two No. 1 hits, four Dove Award nominations, and Christian Research Report's Best New Artist of 1999. Found a Place, a stunning follow-up, was issued in spring 2000. I Want to be Like You, a piano driven album that incorporated string arrangements to liven up FFH's acoustic style, appeared a year later.
