Biography

Led by the Black Seeds' Barnaby Weir, Wellington, New Zealand's Fly My Pretties are a large group, numbering just short of 20 members, that plays throughout its native country and occasionally releases recordings of its theatrical performances. Mixing roots rock, reggae, folk, and soul, the group incorporates live action and background visuals into its productions. Released in 2004, Live at Bats went gold in New Zealand and was followed in 2006 by The Return of Fly My Pretties.
