Biography

Comprised of Triune, Propaganda, Ishues, Random, and Raphi, the Footsoldiers started making noise in the underground rap scene around 2006. They each had their own solo careers or individual endeavors. In particular, Raphi, aka Big Shame, was an original member of '90s Los Angeles crew the Tunnel Rats. Producer Dax Reynosa was instrumental in bringing together these skilled MCs, some of whom reside in different parts of the country. In June 2006, the Footsoldiers made an appearance on hip-hop veteran KRS-One's Life LP, and in turn, KRS had guest vocals on their debut album, Live This, which was released in October later that year through Antagonist Records. The effort was entirely produced by Reynosa's musical partner, Dert.
