Biography

Getaway Car featured vocalist/guitarist Todd Wright, guitarist Matt Miceli, and bassist Chris Reardon. All three were Washington, D.C., area musicians; Wright and Miceli had worked together in a '90s power pop combo called the Excentrics. Getaway Car formed in 2002, and began crafting a slick modern rock sound comparable to acts like Fountains of Wayne and Maroon 5. (Wright was also an in-demand player, touring with both Lucy Woodward and the Pat McGee Band.) Getaway Car issued two recordings in 2004, the NYC EP and a full-length entitled All Your Little Pieces.
