Biography

Los Angeles-based Girl Next Door was an alternative/trip-hop-styled duo comprised of vocalist and guitarist Kat Green and multi-instrumentalist Billy Lincoln. Debuting in 1998 with the self-released Remembering Analogue LP, GND drew comparisons ranging from Morcheeba to Craig Armstrong. The album did well locally, and in 1999 the duo returned with the Transition EP, which featured a remix of Analogue's "Gorgeous."
