Biography

The line-up of Joey Kneiser (vocals/guitar), Bingham Barnes (bass), Maggie Gresham (vocals/ keyboard), Jason Manley (guitar), and Gregory Jacks (guitar) collectively made up Glossary. Based out of Murfreesboro, TN, the band got together in 1997 after being musically inspired by Modest Mouse, Sonic Youth, Pavement, and Neil Young. Resulting in a noisy, indie set of literature and pop-culture references, Glossary released their first full-length album entitled Southern by the Grace of Location through their own Champ Records in 1998. Their second album All We've Learned About Living followed two years later.
