Biography

The Appleseed Cast's Aaron Pillar and Christopher Crisci formed a side project in 2001 and aimed to create something a little different than their original band. Tagging themselves Hundred Hands, Pillar and Crisci hooked up with producer Ed Rose to make the band a trio. The three found themselves tinkering around with a lush, experimental texture that was both passionate in songwriting and heavy in sound. Hundred Hands captured it all on their 2002 debut EP, the sonically gorgeous Little Eyes. The band returned in 2005 with their first full-length, Her Accent Was Excellent, released via Chicago's Graveface Records.
