Biography

Singer/songwriter Jill Olson first emerged as a member of the folk-pop trio the Stouthearted, followed by a tenure in the Bay Area band the Movie Stars. After a stint playing bass in John Wesley Harding's backup band, Olson issued her solo debut The Gal Who Would Be King in 1996 on the eggBERT label.
