Biography

Highly praised by such publications as the NY Times and Rolling Stone, drummer Jonathan Kane was a founding member of the experimental rock band Swans. Kane has composed for solo and ensemble performances, dance, theater and television. He played in LaMonte Young's Forever Bad Blues Band, and was the only drummer in Rhys Chatham's 100 electric guitar orchestra. Kane has been playing with Gary Lucas since 1992, as a member of Lucas' band Gods and Monsters.
