Biography

Finnish-born Jori Hulkkonen has an impressive discography with the label F Communications and Ultra. He has been producing music since 1989 and started releasing tracks four years after. In 1996, Holkkonen started DJing and turned professional one year later. In 1993 he co-founded the now defunct Lumi Records with a couple colleagues; Ari Ruokamo relaunched the label in 1999. After the disbandment, Jori went on to release tracks for techno labels such as Hybrid, Trainspotter's Nightmare, and the recognized F Communications. His gig resume includes DJ sets and live performances in larger clubs and on radio stations across the globe. In 2000 he added to his long roster of F Comm releases with the album When No One is Watching We Are Invisible and followed it later that year with Helsinki Mix Sessions on Turbo Records through Ultra.
