Biography

A Hamburg-based German pop/rock group with an approach somewhat reminiscent of the Cardigans, Kind of Blue were formed in the late '90s by guitarist Bernd Klimpel, drummer Frank Spinngiess, and vocalist Katrin Holst, drawing their name from the famous modal jazz album by Miles Davis. Holst later left the band and was replaced by Polish singer Lidia Kopania. The group's albums include Indigo, In Sight, and Beating the Morning Rush.
