Biography

Hailing from San Jose, CA, the lineup of Tobin Mori (vocals/guitar), Elizabeth Yi (vocals/guitar), Summer (bass), and Scott Landucci (drums) was otherwise known as Korea Girl. With their lighthearted, guitar-driven indie pop and female-fronted vocals, the quartet would be critically compared to the likes of Seam, Velocity Girl, Pavement, and Lois upon the release of the band's 1998 debut EP, Reunion. But before the Asian Man Records release of their 1999 self-titled album, Korea Girl disbanded while in the recording studio. Mori went on to form the band Ee.
