Biography

Like many of his New World Music labelmates, new age artist Llewellyn's compositions come from a deeply personal connection to music rather than formal or traditional study. Claiming a bloodline that can be traced to the last native Prince of Wales (from whom he took his name), Llewellyn maintains a connection to his Celtic heritage that informs and inspires both his spiritual and musical paths. Since childhood, composition came to him easily, and he imagined melodies far earlier than most of his peers. With a keen interest in spirituality and healing practices, Llewellyn found support and an eager audience through the New World Music record label. Over the course of his prolific career he has recorded over 50 albums, both designed for therapeutic purposes and for mainstream audiences. His album Reiki, written in collaboration with Reiki healing specialist Tina Allison, became one of the label's top-selling records. Llewellyn's mainstream release Ghosts, followed by Journey to the Temple, could be found on new age charts worldwide. Inspired by traditional Celtic folklore and spirituality, Llewellyn has composed a large body of work in celebration of Druidic concepts, including Mysts of Avalon, Lady of the Lake, and Celtic Legend. Llewellyn continues to work both as a recording artist and Reiki/crystal healing practitioner.
