Biography

In 1980, the West Coast outfit los Olvidados burst onto the skatepunk scene, a trend derived of hardcore punk that became very popular among skateboarders. They debuted on a Bay Area compilation called Not So Quiet on the Western Front, originally released in 1982. Nevertheless, los Olvidados (the Forgotten People) disbanded before issuing their first album. After their breakup, bassist Ray Stevens joined the Faction and Odd Man Out before assembling Clay Wheels, while guitarist Mike Fox formed Hemi. In July 2002, Alternative Tentacles Records released a collection of their songs titled Listen to This.
