Biography

Part of London's vibrant rootsy dub scene (along with Adrian Sherwood and Suns of Arqa), Manasseh is the recording arm of one Nick Raphael, along with his sometime partner the Equalizer (Jeremy Armstrong). Although the duo's dub influence is most striking, occasional jazzy textures lighten the mood on their two albums, Dub the Milennium and Shining (released as part of a contract with America's Hollywood Records).
