Biography

Since releasing his first commercially available album, 1986's Tea Court Interlude, Oregon's Michael Allen Harrison has built a reputation as a prolific and stylistically diverse pianist. Between 1992 and 2002, Harrison released nearly 20 albums on his own MAH label. His recorded work has ranged from film music to ballet compositions and from Gershwin interpretations to Christmas themes. Released in 1992, Emotional Connection was played while the space shuttle Endeavor was in orbit; another one of his albums, the following year's Circle of Influence, went up with the Discovery.
