Biography

Ot Azoj Klezmerband is a skilled group that formed in Amsterdam in 1994 and have performed and recorded klezmer music since. The band has released albums on the Oreade Music label including the Heart of Klezmer in 1999, and a live album in 2001. Members of Ot Azoj as of the latter releases are violinist Joris van Beek, saxophonist Karin Kranenborg, clarinetist Tjalling Smittenberg, accordion player Onno Wieten and bass tuba player Adrine Pool, with percussionist Rene Gosse on tapan and darbouka.
