Biography

This Montana-born keyboardist and composer studied music at Harvard on a Leonard Bernstein scholarship before paying his dues on the San Francisco blues scene. Aaberg's wide range of abilities led to guest appearances on over 80 albums. He also toured with artists as varied as Peter Gabriel, John Hiatt, Kenny Rogers, and the Doobie Brothers. Upon signing with Windham Hill in 1985, Aaberg made his eclectic background pay off through a series of solo albums that show off his rigorous keyboard technique, diverse influences, and colorful compositional style.
