Biography

Germany's Project Pitchfork is an industrial band featuring vocalist Peter Spilles and keyboardist/programmer Dirk Scheuber; their sound often recalls a less aggressive, undistorted Front Line Assembly. They debuted in 1991 with Dhyani, which was followed a year later by Lam-'Bras and Entities; highlights of this period were later collected on the U.S. compilation Early Years '89-'93. 1994's Io eventually became the band's first American release. After a layoff, Project Pitchfork returned in 1998 with Alpha Omega.
